Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services, a medical staffing agency, is recruiting for a temporary Physical Therapist in Blacksburg, VA. A PTA works onsite 20 hours a week. There are 2 treatment rooms, and a PT gym set up adjacent to a fitness center and primary care office.
Essential Duties
- Provides 1:1 care and initial evaluations for employees of a business. Patients are scheduled every 45 minutes.
- Orthopedic patient population with the potential to see a child 13+.
- Must be comfortable seeing direct access patients.
Position Details
- Work Setting: Employer-based outpatient clinic
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
- Length: approx 14 weeks
- Shift: Mon-Thur, 7:30a-5:30p, Fri, 8:00-noon
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Pay Rate: $43.00-$60.00 hr.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in treatment of elbow, wrist, hand disorders
- Licensed in VA
- BLS required
