Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Services, a healthcare recruiting company is seeking Recovery Support Technicians for our client in Louisville, KY.  This is a full-time, direct hire position.

Several shifts are available:

  • Men's Program: 16-24 hrs per week / Fri, Sat and Sun (1st shift)
  • Women's Program: 40 hrs per week / 4:00p-12:00a (2nd shift) and 12:00a-8:00a (3rd shift), days will vary on both shifts but will include some weekends
  • Admissions: 40 hrs per week / Mon-Fri, 9:00a-5:00p

Job Summary

The Recovery Support Technician will work in Addiction Recovery Services and be responsible for monitoring the functional operations of the residential program and facility.  The Recovery Support Technician’s primary responsibility is safety and security of programs and clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains operational control of the facility in the absence of senior staff.
  • Ensures that clients adhere to program guidelines and expectations.
  • Ensures client’s compliance with company policies and house rules.
  • Maintains chronological written records of events that occur during the shift.
  • Maintains client sign-in/sign-out log.
  • Makes periodic tours of the facility and its grounds.
  • Monitors number of clients in facility and their behavior, hourly.
  • Completes required documentation.
  • Attends training and clinical supervision.
  • Provides transportation to residents as needed.
  • Observes and reports maintenance needs and safety hazards.
  • Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) duties as assigned by supervision & PQI Committee.
  • Maintains proper documentation.
  • Models agency core values of integrity, compassion, diversity, commitment & justice to all internal and external contacts.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
  • Two years post-secondary education preferred
  • Two years prior experience in a treatment facility (or other specialized knowledge and experience) preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
  • Must have ability to be CPR/First Aid certified, upon 30 days of employment
  • Must pass a criminal background check, including a sex crimes records check
  • Driver’s license, with clean driving record
