Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Services, a healthcare staffing agency, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a clinic in Indianapolis, IN.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clinic is for primary care and occupational health for employees of a business.
  • Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice.
  • Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed.
  • Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments.
  • Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice.
  • Utilizes Epic EMR for patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care

Work Setting: Employer-based health clinic
Job Type: Temporary
Length: 12 weeks
Shift: Mon, 7:00a-3:00p, Tue, 7:00a-2:30p, Fri, 7:00a-1:00p 
Weekly Hours: 22.5-23
RN Pay Rate: $45.00-$48.00 hr.

Job Requirements

  • Must have excellent blood draw skills
  • BLS certification through AHA required
  • At least 2 yrs of of experience in a clinic, ambulatory care or other outpatient setting preferred
  • Friendly and pleasant demeanor, with excellent customer service
