Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services, a medical staffing agency, is recruiting for a Family Nurse Practitioner for a clinic in McLean, VA.
Essential Duties
- Provides primary care and acute care services to employees of a business and their dependents.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and health care needs.
- Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patients' condition.
- Provides written home-going instructions.
- Collaborates with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan as necessary.
- Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment.
- Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
- Epic EMR
- Patient age range: 5 yrs and up
Position Details
- Setting: Employer-based wellness clinic
- Job Type: Temporary
- Start Date: Aug 2025
- Length: approximately 7 weeks
- Shift:7:30-4:00, 8:00a-4:30p (could be either time)
- Pay Rate: $60.00-$65.00 hr.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Prefers experience in primary care and/or family medicine
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- BLS required
