Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services, a medical staffing agency, is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner for a clinic in Colorado Springs, CO.
Essential Duties
- Provides primary care and acute care services to employees of a business and their dependents.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and health care needs.
- Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patients' condition.
- Provides written home-going instructions.
- Collaborates with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan as necessary.
- Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment.
- Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
- Epic EMR
- Patient age range: 5 yrs and up
- In person and some virtual visits
- Patient volume: 5-6 per day
Position Details
- Work Setting: Employer-based wellness clinic
- Job Type: Temporary
- Length: 1 week
- Start Date: 6/13/25-6/20/25 and then PRN thereafter
- Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:00a-4:30p
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Pay Rate: $65.00-$70.00 hr.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Prior primary care experience preferred
- DEA required
- BLS required
