Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Services, a healthcare staffing agency, is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses/Licensed Practical Nurses for a facility in Denton, TX.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides for the care, treatment, and general welfare of individuals who have intellectual disabilities, complex medical, mental health, and/or behavioral issues.
  • Manages medication administration and treatment and provides medication education.
  • Completes documentation and performs computer data entry.

Position Details

Work Setting: Assisted Living Center
Job Type: Local Contract
Length: 6 months minimum
Shift: 5:45a-2:15p, 1:45p-10:15p /rotating weekends
Weekly Hours: 37.5
Hourly Rate: $31.00-$32.00 hr.

Job Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 yrs experience in nursing in an acute or a LTC facility
  • BLS certification through AHA required
