Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services, a healthcare staffing agency, is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant for a clinic in Frisco, TX. This is a very busy, fast-paced primary care and occupational health clinic.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Position is for a back office MA.
- Venipunctures, audiogram, PFT skills, urine drug screens and all CLIA-waived testing.
- Rooms patients, vitals, allergy injections, vaccines, immunizations, medication administration.
- Patient ages range from newborn to adults.
- Epic EMR
Position Details
Work Setting: Employer-based health clinic
Job Type: Temporary
Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Mon, Wed, Fri, 8:00a-5:00p, Tue & Thur, 6:00a-3:30p
Weekly Hours: 40
LVN Pay Rate: $28.00-$32.00 hr.
MA Pay Rate: $21.00-$23.00 hr.
Job Requirements
- Candidate MUST have lots of clinic experience
- Prefer to have EMR experience with Epic and exercise stress testing
- Needs to be able to work independently but follow very strict processes and guidelines
- Must have excellent blood draw skills
- BLS certification through AHA required
- At least 2 yrs of of LPN/MA experience in a medical office or clinic preferred
- Friendly and pleasant demeanor, with excellent customer service
