Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services, a healthcare staffing agency, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant for a clinic in New Charles, MO.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Registers patients, checking them and out
- Rooms patients, vitals, injections, EKGs
- Phlebotomy, labs, TB skin testing
- Performs strep/COVID/flu testing
- Clean rooms before and after rooming patients
- Performs some administrative tasks
- Respond to patient messages
- Patients, ages 2+
Position Details
Work Setting: Employer-based primary care clinic
Job Type: Temporary
Length: approx 9 weeks but possibly longer
Shift: Mon, Wed, Fri, 7a-1p, Tue, 7a-4p, Thur, noon-6p
Weekly Hours: 32.5
Hourly Rate: $19.00-$30.00 hr.
Job Requirements
- Must have excellent blood draw skills
- BLS certification through AHA required
- At least 2 yrs of of LPN/MA experience
- Must be Certified or Registered
- Friendly and pleasant demeanor, with excellent customer service
