Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services, a healthcare recruiting company is seeking a Director - Behavioral Health in Las Cruces, NM. This is a full-time direct hire position. Relocation assistance up to $10K.
Job Summary
- Behavioral Health Director is responsible for directing all aspects of inpatient psychiatric operations, including managing and mentoring staff, developing and enforcing policies and procedures, preparing and maintaining accreditation and accountability for the departments budget and productivity.
- This position supports psychiatric care throughout the facility.
Job Requirements
- Current New Mexico or compact Nursing license required
- Five years of mental health experience with at least two year’s experience in a leadership role
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Advanced degree in Business, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- Experience working in a for-profit organization is strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of Behavioral Healthcare codes in NM
- Ability to navigate the behavioral health system
- Previous leadership, program development, budget and productivity, and clinical experience required
- Must possess strong human relations and interpersonal skills
