Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services, a medical staffing agency, is recruiting for Certified Nursing Assistants to work at a corrections facility in Huntsville, TX.
Essential Functions
- Provides activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients.
- Providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
- Provides adjunct care by administering enemas, douches, non-sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, sitz and therapeutic baths and applying restraints.
- Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight, testing urine, and recording intake and output information.
- Provides patients comfort by utilizing resources and materials, transporting patients, answering patients’ call lights and requests, and reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
- Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
- Protects patient information confidential.
- Adheres to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements and JCAHO standards.

Shift: 5:45a-6:15p, 5:45p-6:15a (4 days one week, 3 days the next)
Weekly Hours: 36-48
Pay Rate: $24.00 hr.
Job Requirements
- At least 2 yrs of LTC or SNF experience
- TX license
- Current BLS through the AHA
- Current TB test
