Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services, a healthcare staffing agency is recruiting for a Certified Medical Assistant to work in a Primary Care and Urgent Care facility in Columbus, IN.
Essential Duties
- Routine back office functions, bringing patients back to exam room, taking and recording basic medical history, and assisting the physicians and/or nurse as needed.
- May be asked to perform point of care testing, phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, etc.
- Utilize EPIC EMR
- Calls patients with test results, as directed by the physician.
Position Details
- Employment Type: Travel or Local Contract
- Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 10-12 hr days; between 7a-7:30p
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Floating: Yes, to other offices nearby
Compensation
Travel Gross Weekly: $1,500 / $37.50 hr
Local Gross Weekly: $1,280 / $32.00 hr.
Job Requirements
- Requires at least two years of MA experience
- Current BLS thru the AHA
- Phlebotomy experience required
- Must be Certified
- Epic experience preferred
