Job Description
We are seeking a temporary Certified Medical Assistant for a clinic in Phoenix, AZ.
Essential Functions
- Interviews patients and measures vital signs.
- Phlebotomy and prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination.
- Administers injections (medications and vaccines)
- Operates EKG and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests.
- Schedules appointments, makes follow up phone calls to patients and manages referrals.
- Performs administrative tasks, and provides assistance at front desk.

Position Details
Work Setting: Employer-based health clinic
JobType: Temporary
Length: approx 17 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:30a-4:30p
Weekly Hours: 40
Hourly Rate: $21.00-$23.00 hr.
Job Requirements
- Must have excellent blood draw skills
- BLS certification through AHA required
- At least 2 yrs of of medical assisting experience
- Must be Certified or Registered
- Comfortable with well woman exams
- Proficient in using EPIC EMR
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Maintaining a proactive approach to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction
