Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services, a healthcare staffing agency, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a clinic in Louisville, KY.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Back office MA duties.
- Rooms patients, obtaining vital signs.
- Phlebotomy and POCT
- Assists provider with exams.
- Patients are seen in person and virtually; 5-15/per day.
- Epic EMR
Position Details
Setting: Employer-based primary care clinic
Employment Type: Temporary
Length: approx 6-8 weeks but possibly longer
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:00a-5:00p
Weekly Hours: 40
Hourly Rate: $19.00-$22.00 hr.
Job Requirements
- Must have excellent blood draw skills
- BLS certification through AHA required
- At least 2 yrs of of medical assisting experience
- Must be Certified
- Epic EMR experience preferred
