Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services, a healthcare staffing agency, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a clinic in Jefferson City, MO.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Front and back office duties.
- Rooms patients, obtaining vital signs.
- Assists provider with exams.
- POCT, strep, flu rapid COVID, UA and EKGs.
- Immunizations, allergy shots, phlebotomy.
- Answers the phone and patient check-in/out.
- Approx 4-10 patients seen per day; ages 14+
Position Details
Setting: Employer-based health clinic
Employment Type: Temporary
Length: approx 8 weeks but possibly longer
Target Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Mon, 7a-5p, Tue, 7a-3:30p, Wed, 7a-3:30p, Thur, 7a-5p, Fri, 7a-noon
Weekly Hours: 40
Hourly Rate: $21.00-$23.00 hr.
Job Requirements
- Must have excellent blood draw skills
- BLS certification through AHA required
- At least 2 yrs of of medical assisting experience
- Must be Certified
