Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services, a healthcare staffing agency is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a clinic in Hurst, TX.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Rooms patients and obtains vital signs, POCT, strep, flu, and EKGs
- Immunizations, allergy shots, and blood draws, and patient follow-up
- Assists with well-woman exams, ear lavage, Epic charting
- Age range, 2+ yrs
Position Details
Setting: Employer-based primary care clinic
Employment Type: Temporary
Length: 11 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:00a-4:00p
Weekly Hours: 40
Hourly Rate: $20.00-$22.00 hr.
Job Requirements
- Must have excellent blood draw skills
- BLS certification through AHA required
- At least 2 yrs of of medical assisting experience
- Must be Certified
