Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services, a healthcare staffing agency, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a clinic in Georgetown, KY.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answers the phone, registers patients, check in/out
- Rooms patients, vitals, injections, EKGs, Phlebotomy
- Cleans rooms before and after rooming patients
- Performs some administrative tasks
- Responds to patient messages
- Patients ages 2+; approx 12 patients seen per shift
- EMR: Epic
Position Details
Work Setting: Employer-based primary care clinic
Job Type: Temporary
Length: approx 6 weeks but possibly longer
Shift: Mon, 7a-1p, Tue, 11a-6p, Wed, 7a-1p, Thurs, 8a-7p, Fri, 8a-2p
Weekly Hours: approx 34
Hourly Rate: $19.00-$21.00 hr.
Job Requirements
- Must have excellent blood draw skills
- BLS certification through AHA required
- At least 2 yrs of of MA experience
- Must be Certified or Registered
- Friendly and pleasant demeanor, with excellent customer service
