Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services, a healthcare staffing agency is recruiting for a CT Technologist in Fredericksburg, TX
Essential Duties
- Performs complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures.
- Positions patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
- Assists radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
- Evaluates CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure and appropriately label.
Position Details
Length: 13 weeks
Target Start Date: ASAP
Shift (2 available): Fri, Sat, Sun-7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30p
Weekly Hours: 36
EMR: Meditech
Travel Weekly Gross: $2,340/$65.00 hr.
Local Weekly Gross: $2,160/60.00 hr.
Job Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 yrs of recent CT experience
- Must be familiar with GE CT 64 slice scanner, Care Stream for X-ray, and OEC C-Arms in the OR
- The ideal candidate will also have the ability to help as a Nuclear Med Tech
- ARRT
- CT Registry
- TX license
- BLS required
