Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services, a medical staffing agency, is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner for a clinic in Columbus, IN. The company is open to either temporary or temp-to-hire.
Essential Duties
- Provides full primary care services (acute and chronic care) to employees of a business and their dependents.
- Performs physical examinations, including well woman exams, minor procedures, and preventive health measures, within prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and health care needs.
- Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patients' condition. Provides written home-going instructions.
- Collaborates with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan as necessary.
- Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
- Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
- Patient age range: 2 yrs and up.
- Average patient load is 16-18/day.

- Job Type: Temporary or Temp-to-Hire
- Length: approx 14 weeks
- Shift: Tue-Thur, 7:00a-6:00p & Fri, 8:00a-7:00p (Mon off) / Sat rotation every 8 weeks, 8:00a-12:00p
- Weekly Hours: 40 (4x10)
- Pay Rate: $60.00-65.00 hr.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Licensed in Indiana
- Must have experience in family practice or primary care
- BLS required
- Epic EMR experience required
