Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services, a healthcare staffing agency is recruiting for a Echocardiographer in Hancock, MI. This is a full-time direct hire position.
Job Summary
As a Echocardiographer, you will have a significant impact on the patients and staff that you interact with on a daily basis. You will be responsible for performing non-invasive diagnostic cardiovascular studies, as well as the clerical duties associated with the procedures, according to Cardiac Services policies and procedures.
Essential Duties
- Receives patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable.
- Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.
- Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive. procedures according to established standards and practices.
- Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.
- Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Echocardiography Course with a preceptorship in 2D and M-Mode, color Doppler and color flow studies
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Registered or Registry Eligibility Fulfilled
- BLS Certification Required
- COVID Vaccination and Annual Influenza Vaccination or Declination Required
- CPR certification
