Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services, a healthcare staffing agency is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a clinic in Dallas, TX.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Front and back office duties/80% back/20% front
- Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs.
- POCT, strep, flu rapid COVID, UA and EKGs.
- Immunizations, allergy shots, and blood draws.
- Giving medications and patient follow-up.
- Answering the phone and patient check in/out.
- Receiving supplies and logging them in.
- Age range, 18-70, up to 18 patients per shift
Position Details
Setting: Employer-based health clinic
Employment Type: Temporary
Length: approx 14 weeks but possibly longer
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:30a-5:30p
Weekly Hours: 40+
Hourly Rate: $20.00-$22.00 hr.
Job Requirements
- Must have excellent blood draw skills
- BLS certification through AHA required
- At least 2 yrs of of medical assisting experience
- Must be Certified
