Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Services, a medical staffing agency, is recruiting for a Physical Therapist for a facility in Merrillville, IN.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Upon physician referral, the Physical Therapist conducts an initial patient evaluation to develop an appropriate treatment plan with measurable goals and time frames.
- Documents treatments and provide documentation per policy and procedure.
- Ensures that other treating medical professionals have the necessary information to appropriately evaluate the patients' functional ability.
- Communicates on a regular basis with all physical therapy patients, setting their expectations for return-to-work and emphasizing education and motivation for compliance with the established treatment plan(s).
- Communicates effectively with a diverse patient population.

Work Setting: Outpatient Rehab clinic
Job Type: Local Contract
Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Mon & Wed, 10a-7p, Tue, Thurs, Fri, 8:30a-5p
Weekly Hours: 40
Pay Rate: $45.00-$48.00 hr.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of a school of physical therapy
- At least one yr of rehab PT experience working with adults
- Licensed in IN
- BLS thru the AHA
